    it was most likely damaged beyond repair due to lack of maintenance, or would cost more to repair and reopen than to just tear town. the sad thing is, if it was repaired, the city would be left with *another* empty building... many abandoned buildings in the city are already magnets for crininals, squatters, rapists and drug dealers...

    They tore it down, but at least they left the playing field. Yankee Stadium was taken down and the playing field ripped up. The same field where all those great memories happened. Only to put another regulation-sized playing field??? They should have left the old one and called that Heritage Field!!

    I mostly stopped eating Avalon bread when they stopped putting the three-day-old bread in the dumpster... Everything they sell is amazing. Go there and eat something.

    Very pretty and nice for a walk. Sometimes there are kitties and sometimes there are flowers and there are always pretty houses. Don't drive through, though, the street is cobbled and bumpy and will scramble your brains.
