International sold us out. The point of going on strike is by trying to prove a point to the company. You all did not have out backs and that is very pitiful as an so called union organization. Then on top of that no one from the headquarters came and expressed their views to us and nothing, but you send a man from out local district that couldn't answer all the questions that we had. That should of been you alls job not his. Now with that being said, this is my first union job and I use to be proud to work for an union. I thought union meant something, but afer this experience its just full of crap

Just found some old pictures AND the "PINK SLIP" that J&L gave to my dad after working there for 32 YEARS. The date on the slip was December 31st 1968..... But what the hell instead of a pension that he would have gotten the next year or two he got..... A FUCKING B&W TV. He had worked his way up from the mail room to Warehouse Manager. The best place to work-ever! W. Tom ZurSchmiede, Jr., was a class act.

They've always been two separate parks there... People failed to recognize and maintain the A. B. Ford section of that land. Plus it went without the proper signage for years! It was actually refreshing to see people take some interest in the area! Yet the little progress that was taking place has since then halted.

I believe it happened there no reason not to believe if you think gangs to kill innocent people to get initiated into the gangs then you must have your head in the sand its not a myth. Ask your local police department. It happened to a pastor and by Gods grace he survived .it happens more then you could ever know

I remember reading about this when it first happened , it's not a myth. He was a juvenile at the time and very well may have requested his privacy. But I just watched a music video that just so perfectly and accurately portrayed it except for you know how long they were friends. But it was amazing and a must see.

I totally disagree with this urban myth... My boyfriend and I were held up at gunpoint (us being two white 19 year olds) by two black men that told us they were initiating into a gang. They didn't want to kill us, just rob us and beat us black and blue so they could take pictures of our bloody bodies and faces.. Good thing that my boyfriend was not letting that happen... This also took place while we were just standing outside in our driveway at 9 at night, these two men ran into our yard and did this action.. They also had a sawed off shotgun.. These types of gang initations happen all the fucking time, but usually it is just brutal beatings and robbings... Killings can happen just as well. What kind of myth books are you reading?
