This school may have recieved a needed renovation, but look all around the neighborhood the school is in! What a DISGRACE!!! It looks as if it were a recreation of The Great Train Robbery, except without the train OR the horsemen, replaced by a disgraceful scene of abandoment and neglect! This supposed "neighboorhood" is NOT something an ailing city like Detroit needs to ignore.

A stinkin' parking lot! In my best opinion, this struggling city should've made the right decision to salvage another histroic landmark that was once a special gem of Detroit. Now I can clearly understand if the Tuller was beyond any chance of repair, but this is another painful reminder of the struggling city that once florished with pride. If the Tuller just held on a little longer, it might've been a good idea to convert it into apartment lofts. But still, the implosion of the Tuller Hotel makes a deeper cut into what was once Detroit's glamourous history.

The implosion and rubble of the former J.L. Hudson's department store can only serve as a painful reminder to everyone of Detroit's struggling economic standards. While the retail home mortgage company Quicken Loans has plans for the redevelopment of the property to become their new headquarters, it just can't cover up the scaving mark of what was once Detroit's historical past.

It's very sad to see such a historical landmark dissappear into the air, but BRACE UP, everyone! A local organization is planning to save a fourth of Tiger Stadium! But they must come up with the funds by August 1st, 2008, or that part of the old, famed stadium is gone for good, as will be the rest of the stadium.

The parking garage could use some repairs on your entrance doors. Monday the door was stuck ,had no outside door handle to open it with, the other entrances were to far away from our parking section. I need a cane to help me in my walking and had a difficult time. Also the elevators have been broken for more than two years. I attend the tigers game and although I appreciate the price of parking there, I will have to consider other means.
Sincerely,
Dorothy
