this is not the accurate location of Rosedale Park, Rosedale park is bound by Mcnicholes ave to the north, Grand River Ave to the south, the southfield Freeway to the east and Evergreen rd to the west, plese visit the following website for more information: http://www.northrosedalepark.org/

Great venue, but it's a small venue, so beware that the show may sell out.

Simply the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. Read the reviews and go see for yourself. You, too, will be a convert to this most excellent restaurant.

Andretti is also infamous for running into the back a CART saftey vehicle at the scene of an accident. Forgot what year that was.
  • Manoogian Mansion, Steve (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
Detroit should sell the Mansion, the city could use the money. The past mayor's all had nice homes. How many big city's offer homes for their mayor's?
  • Cass Corridor, thedaigo (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
Did anybody notice that this location is marked as being in Canada? Technically it's right, being about 5km from the city's center, but it's about 1km from Detroit's center, and the last time I checked this location was in Detroit, Michigan, USA. For about 230 years now.
  • Cass Corridor, thedaigo (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
It's already booming. Might want to check the papers on that one. Granted there are some eyesores still remaining, but it's a LOT better down there now! Very artsy, chic location mainly of Gen-Xers and professionals. Oh, it's now called "Midtown", to try to remove the blight the name "Cass Corridor" carried with it. I still call it CC, but it's now pretty decent.
  • Tiger Stadium (Demolished), goll12 (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
they are gonna put condos and retail stores in this place. and leave a quarter of the stadium standing.
  • Tiger Stadium (Demolished), cobher (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
Why keep Tiger Stadium? Ebbets Field, Polo Grounds, Forbes Field, Shibe Park, Crosley Field, two different Busch Stadiums (and soon Yankee Stadium), they're all gone. Why keep a stadium standing just to satisfy the memories of some fans who are stuck in the past? Yes, it was a great place to watch a game. But so were all those other places. Stadiums go away. That's the way it works.
  • St. John's Episcopal Church , skipinator (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
Often has a sign attached to its roof saying "Pray here for the Lions and Tigers" due to it's proximity to both Stadiums.
  • Birthplace of the 1967 Detroit riots, zbake (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
detroit is still the most beautiful city in America, nay the world!
  • Springwells Village, Mr B. (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
This is not actually true. The area inaccurately referred to as Little Baghdad is actually in Dearborn not Detroit, has a predominantly Yemeni not Iraqi population, and is much smaller than indicated. Unless the person is referring to all of Dearborn than the area is mislocated and larger but is still not only Iraqi. Most of the area currently indicated is really a multi-ethnic district of southwest Detroit called Springwells Village. I will edit the incorrect labeling if possible after I contact WikiMapia for editing instructions.

I stayed here with my colleagues in 2001 for a 3 week period. It was great, the place is exceptionally neat and clean and the view is terrific! You could walk along the marina and see the boats/yachts in the quay, just fantastic!
