My adopted daughter was born at the salvation Army Booth Memorial Hospital in Detroit Michigan on November 20th. 1969.Her Mother was from the Grand Rapids- Holland area. Her Mother was Dutch and her Father was Japanese. I believe they were 19 and 18 respectively and were both college students. Also they both may have had younger siblings. The paternal grandfather may have owned an Insurance Agency. She is happily married and has an adopted daughter of her own. She does not wish to be involved in your or your familys' life but has some health problems of her own and would like some family health information if you would be willing to share! Her Father and I love her dearly and considered it a most precious gift to have raised her and call her our own! Please contact me if you are her Birth Mother,Birth Father, Birth Grandparents or may know who they might be. It is extremely important that we know some medical history on our lovely daughter!

This apartment building is managed by SLUM LORDS! The Amenities that offer are: Air Conditioning BUT if you have a unit in your apartment it doesn’t work and if you don’t have a unit in your apartment then there is just a BIG ASS hole in the wall with a piece of wood over it. Heat Included BUT they control it and don’t turn the heat on until late October no matter how cold it is and when they do attempt to turn it on it don’t work OR the pipes burst and flood your apartment. And good luck getting in touch with the “building manager” because there is never anyone in the office and they never return tenets phone calls.

Who should live here? NO ONE! Let the BED BUGS pay the rent. Hopefully the black mold will overcome the bed bugs, but the faulty electricity should eventually spark and just cause an accidental fire. If the Landlord is unwilling to fix these issues, then THEY should live here. It is a target for a wrecking ball. FIX these problems landlord!! Nothing screams stay away like BEDBUGS. If you want more tenants, then clean up this landfill. Get off your behind and do something good. Good people live here!

Dont move in here! Owned by a slumlord! Manager is a bitch and always listening in on you. No privacy. Faulty electric, plumbing, black mold, building falling apart and infested with bedbugs! And the owner refuses to spend a dime to fix the problems. SHOULD BE CONDEMED!

Wow, it didn't even last 20 years. Now it's been closed longer than it operated, and it just sits there, rotting. I hated looking at this dump on my way home from work.
  • Crash Site RAF Vulcan 24 October 1958, Steve Clark wrote 10 years ago:
I was ten years old visiting my grandmother who lived at the corner of Dickerson and Essex. We heard the tremendous noise of the crash and followed dozens of people to the crash site about a half mile away. When we arrived there were still fires burning and the smell of jet fuel was very noticeable.
